Sarah Sanders Kicked Out of Virginia Restaurant by Irate, Fanatical Owner

Seriously now.

I hate to do the “liberals are the real [INSERT NEGATIVE STEREOTYPE OF RIGHT-WINGERS],” but when was the last time you heard of a conservative kicking a liberal out of a business because they disagreed with the liberal’s politics?

Have you ever heard of that?

Even with the gay cake thing, the gays are not run out of the store. They aren’t even denied business. In all of these cases, it has just been “I won’t personalize a gay marriage cake for you – I will sell you the cake, and you can put your own personal gay message on it, but I’m not writing the gay thing on the cake.”

The thing with liberals though is that they are on a holy crusade. They believe they are imbued with some kind of divine mission.

Whereas conservatives are (for better or worse) able to say “I don’t support homosexuality, but I understand that these are human beings,” liberals actually view Donald Trump as a literal embodiment of satan.

It’s kind of scary, to imagine that reality complex being so widespread.

The owner of the Red Hen in Virginia who asked White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to leave is speaking out on why she made the request.

Speaking to The Washington Post, Red Hen owner Stephanie Wilkinson said she was actually home when she got a phone call informing her that Sanders had walked into her small, farm-to-table restaurant.

It’s a cute restaurant.

Lexington is a cute town. Or it was when I was a kid. Probably isn’t anymore.

Nothing really is anymore.

“[The chef] said the staff is a little concerned. What should we do?” Wilkinson told WaPo. “I said I’d be down to see if it’s true.”

Wilkinson also said she had her doubts that Sanders would actually be in a restaurant in her small, rural town but once arriving, she confirmed it was true and Sanders was indeed seated at a group table with other adults.

She then huddled with the staff, many who took issue with the White House on a number of issues and some who are gay, and asked them if they thought Sanders should go.

They did, so she asked Sanders to accompany her to the patio.

“I was babbling a little, but I got my point across in a polite and direct fashion,” Wilkinson said. “I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation
I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.’ ”

Sanders, who Wilkinson did confirm left without a huff, told her side of the story on Twitter later,  a move that, according for former Ethics head Walter Shaub may have actually violated ethics rules:

It’s not surprising.

All of these people – these religious fanatics, who view Trump as an embodiment of Satan – are constantly on the lookout for any opportunity to signal their religious devotion to the cause of destroying the Satan figure and his associates.

It’s a wonder it doesn’t happen more often.

In fact, most of these people probably avoid eating at random restaurants because of the chance of something like this happening.

Despite the fact that it is ultimately good for Trump, good for the right, as it shows the middle that these fanatics are really unhinged – what a hassle.
