An arrest warrant has been issued for a Galesburg man in the shooting death of Jenni McGruder on Sunday.
Jonathan Kelly, 28, is facing three counts of murder, Galesburg police said in a news release Tuesday.
A nationwide warrant has been issued with bail set at $1 million, which means he would need $100,000 to be released from custody.
Galesburg police are asking anyone with information on Kelly’s whereabouts to contact them at (309) 343-9151 or Galesburg CrimeStoppers at (309) 344-0044 or (888) 266-0044 or to text a tip with the keyword “GALESBURG” to 274637.
McGruder, 26, of Galesburg was shot early Sunday in the city parking lot that runs behind the 100 block of South Seminary Street and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not involved with a fight that broke out in Seminary Street Pub, 105 S. Seminary St., and spilled into the parking lot.
