What if whales are a real world manifestation of the evil intrinsic in the infinite expanse of the universe itself? Would you not then want the Nips to kill them?
I’m as much of a nature lover as anyone you’ve ever encountered. Possibly more so.
I actually spent a year one time living in a jungle with no electricity. More than most hippies can say.
However, killing animals that are not endangered is not in opposition to any actual nature preservation. Protesting animal hunting becomes simply a cult ideology. These liberal lunatics are just opposed to death – except in the case of abortion, when they love and celebrate death.
Part of Japanese culture is hunting and eating whales. There is nothing wrong with this unless you are a cult member that believes no living being should ever die except human infants and whoever the Jews send the US military to murder.
They are doing sustainable whaling. Because they are obviously not trying to exterminate whales.
Japanese fishermen have set sail to hunt whales commercially for the first time in more than three decades, following Tokyo’s controversial decision to withdraw from the International Whaling Commission.
Five vessels, their harpoons concealed beneath tarpaulin, left Kushiro in northern Japan on Monday morning. At around the same time, three whalingboats left Shimonoseki in southwestern Japan.
Together they will kill 227 whales through to late December, according to the fisheries agency, which had delayed announcing the quota until the conclusion of the G20 summit in Osaka on Saturday. The quota includes 52 minke, 150 Bryde’s and 25 sei whales, the agency said.
The hunts are likely to spark criticism from environmentalists and anti-whaling countries, but whaling officials were in celebratory mood.
“My heart is overflowing with happiness, and I’m deeply moved,” Yoshifumi Kai, head of the Japan Small-Type Whaling Association, said at a ceremony attended by politicians, local officials and whalers.
Happiness is a warm whale.
Kai, a senior fisheries official in Taiji – whose annual dolphin hunts have caused an international outcry – added: “This is a small industry, but I am proud of hunting whales. People have hunted whales for more than 400 years in my home town.”
Japan was the target of international criticism for using a clause in the IWC’s 1986 moratorium on commercial whaling to conduct “research” whale hunts in the Antarctic.
Meat from the hunts was sold on the open market, prompting claims that they were a cover for commercial whaling.
Late last year Japan announced it would leave the IWC, frustrated by its failure to convince other members to support a return to “sustainable” commercial whaling.
Japan’s whalers killed 333 minke whales during their final “research” expedition to the Antarctic, which ended in March. In previous years, however, it slaughtered almost 1,000 whales a year, amid confrontations on the high seas with the marine conservation group Sea Shepherd.
Fishermen from Abashiri, Taiji , Ishinomaki and Minamiboso – all towns with a whaling tradition – will take part in the commercial hunt in Japan’s exclusive economic zone. Japan will no longer send fleets to the Antarctic every winter following its official withdrawal from the IWC on Sunday.
These “Sea Shepherd” people are freakish kooks who act like terrorists. They’ve been repeatedly denounced by Greenpeace as unhelpful vigilantes who make whale hunters look like victims.
Wow, a skull logo. Hardcore.
No one even talks about “saving the whales” in terms of stopping them from going extinct anymore. Because no one can make the argument that Japan is going to let that happen. Instead, Sea Shepherd wants to save whales because they think they’re nice people as individuals.
This is a generation raised on Free Willy.
When confronted with something he cannot understand, Sea Shepherd mumbles “Free Willy” or “Free Willy muthafucka.”
Free Willy is the core of their belief system.
Whatever you think about whales, sending a big fuck you to the Western liberal establishment is always funny and it should be done in every case.
This is the funniest thing that Asians have done since Daw Suu told the kikes to fuck off, and that she was driving all of the sickening Moslem rats in Burma into the swamp to die.
Squish baby squish, swamp inferno!
We absolutely should be stewards of the earth.
But that isn’t about saving individual whales or Moslems.
It is about sustainability, primarily.
Whale hunting is absolutely sustainable. Japan has meticulously proved that to the UN, then they just told them “oh no, you can’t do it because we like whales and think this is mean.”
This is utter nonsense. We cannot run global policy based on “not being mean.”
Meanwhile, there are many environmental problems that are totally not sustainable.
- Plastic production and disposal
- Other water pollution
- Allowing Africans and other third worlders to breed to infinity by giving them medicine and food
- Industrial farming
And yet, while all of those problems other than #3 still get some lip-service, none of them are being seriously addressed. Instead, we talk about this “climate change” (née global warming) gibberish and how it is sad that animals are killed for food.
It’s all so tiresome.
