Police are asking for help finding a man accused of stealing a donation jar filled with money meant to benefit an 8-year-old girl with cerebral palsy.

A surveillance camera captured the theft. Police identified 46-year-old Christopher Ian Parker, who has an alias of Christopher Johnson, as the suspect. Parker has not been arrested, but charges are pending for the theft, according to police.

A donation jar was set up Saturday at the Train Station, an East River Street bar, for an employee’s young daughter. Throughout the night, the jar was passed among patrons for donations.
